HOT WEATHER As the temperatures are forecast to be very high this week, Burleyfields children may come to school wearing their PE kit to keep them more comfortable and cool. This should be the Burleyfields PE kit. If your child is in Nursery and does not have a PE kit, they are welcome to wear a plain t-shirt and plain shorts. Please note: No PE hoodies are to be worn No school jumpers or cardigans to be worn as additional layers No football tops Children should all have a named water bottle in school. We ask that sun cream is applied before school. Mrs Bell and Mrs Thorley will risk assess daily and may adapt outdoor play and lunchtimes to ensure our children remain safe due to the lack of shaded areas outside. NURSERY SPORTS DAY We will make a decision on the day regarding arrangements for this based on the temperatures and safety of children, staff and families. Thank you for your understanding

BURLEYFIELDS INDEPENDENCE We are so proud of Leon who independently volunteered to do a litter pick on the Burleyfields estate. Leon was inspired by last week's Picture News story, about rubbish in the ocean, and decided he wanted to have a positive impact on his local environment.
