TOTS THEATRE TRIP On Wednesday, our youngest children, our two-year-olds, visited Crown Wharf Theatre in Stone. The children went to watch the performance of Tales from Acorn Wood. It was a very exciting day with the children going on a minibus and exploring their new surroundings before sitting in the audience for the performance. The children were a credit to our school with impeccable behaviour throughout! We are so proud of them. NEW BEGINNINGS We are delighted to share that we are now the proud occupiers of Burleyfields Primary School. We have lots of work to do over the holidays to get our school ready for your children. We would like to express our thanks to Staffordshire County Council, Entrust and GF Tomlinson for delivering this project for us, their support has been unwavering. We look forward to welcoming the children into school from 8:45am on Wednesday 5th November, parents are welcome to join us to look around the school at this time. RECEPTION DIWALI CELEBRATIONS This week in Reception we have been learning about the Hindu festival of Diwali. The children have orally retold the story of Rama & Sita and used masks to perform. As part of our snack time the children enjoyed trying mango lassi drink and also tried a variety of Indian sweets to help them understand how Diwali is celebrated. They also created their own rangoli patterns, developed their fine motor skills by scrunching tissue paper to create diya lights and used the pinch pot method in Art to create a clay diya lamp. #walktheburleyfieldsway

VISITING OUR NEW BUILDING Yesterday we had the opportunity to take our Reception children to visit their new building. They were very excited to see their new school and find their new classroom.
